Contemporary International is seeking an experienced Human Resource Coordinator to implement the HR policies and procedures and manage the on-boarding process for new starters. This role is part of the training team which will deliver training to a high volume of security personnel working for a major international event in London next year. This role will report to the Recruitment Manager.
Key responsibilities:-
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that meet the needs of the company and comply with Employment laws.
Facilitate HR projects, programmes and initiatives which include compensation, benefits, health and safety, rewards and recognition, and communications.
Maintain current knowledge in business, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends and requirements.
Ensure the organisation adheres to UK legislation in terms of employment law.
Provide support and guidance to line managers and employees pertaining to performance management, grievance and terminations.
In addition, the HR Coordinator will assist the Recruitment Manager when required with the following tasks:
Screen resumes and conduct telephone screening interviews.
Create short-lists of candidates and coordinate interviews.
Assist with the facilitation of assessment days.
Utilise job appropriate behavioural and competency based interview assessment techniques.
Complete reference checks.

Education:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required. Experience:Minimum of 2 years experience within Human Resources and ideally have exposure in project start ups, writing policies and procedures and managing the on boarding process for new starters. Language: Excellence in English (verbal and written communication) PC Aptitude: Computer experience in core Microsoft Office packages: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
